In the past I have told you about our Skills and Business training programs. We are really passionate about helping the poor become self-sufficient. But sometimes, before we can get people trained, we have to simply rescue them from a dangerous situation. That’s why one section of our Christmas catalog is simply titled, “Rescue a Life”. In Uganda we are working with partners to rescue pregnant teens from the streets of Kampala or from abusive homes.
