Nick is one of the first children in the US to receive a heart transplant and is the 5th longest living transplant recipient. Today, he is married with a daughter. Susan has written a book about her son's heart journey, with a revised edition released this year. Susan also writes professionally and has written 40 books in total, including a nonfiction book about a World War II flight surgeon and 33 medical roma
