Continuing with our tribute to the women who loved Jimi Hendrix, this week we discuss 60’s model and Swinging London socialite Linda Keith and the portrayal of their relationship in the 2013 film Jimi: All Is By My Side Daughter of the longest British radio presenter Alan Keith, Linda’s passion for music and her talent for spotting true talent was simply in her blood. Working as a model at the age of 17, she met Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards and the two became each others first loves. It was while she was visiting Keith on tour in America that Linda spotted Jimi Hendrix, then playing at a dive bar in NYC.
