The Rich Zeoli Show- Hour 3: 5:05pm- At one point during Tuesday night’s Vice-Presidential debate, moderators Norah O’Donnell and Margaret Brennan attempted to “fact check” J.D. Vance with inaccurate information. Vance corrected the moderators and also noted that all parties had agreed to not issuing real-time fact checks—CBS quickly responded by muting his microphone. During MSNBC’s post-debate coverage, host Nicolle Wallace said that it was “mansplaining” and sexist for Vance to correct the moderators despite the fact they had broken the rules and were using misleading information. 5:10pm- Even Mainstream Media Believes Vance Won Debate. The New York Times Editorial Board—which endorsed Kamala Harris earlier this week—said they believe J.D. Vance won Tuesday’s Vice-Presidential debate. Similarly, CNN’s Abby Phillip said Vance successfully landed “a bunch of punches” on Tim Walz.
