"Ungrateful." It's one of the ugliest words in the English dictionary. No one likes an ungrateful person. No one strives to become an ungrateful person. And so strangely enough, no one thinks they are one. That's because ungratefulness is impossible to see in the mirror. Yet the bible suggests entitlement and ungratefulness is precisely where the human heart drifts. When it does, it destroys our capacity to experience wonder and amazement and joy. The solution?
