For me, this past week has been the most intense of 2020—and we all know that is saying a LOT! Santa Cruz County—where I live—has been impacted by wildfires the likes of which our community has never experienced. Tens of thousands of people have evacuated their homes and many have lost everything. In the relative safety of Aptos, about 10 miles south of the fires, I've been hunkering down and helping as I can. Mostly that has looked like deep prayer, meditation, and healing sessions for our region. In this episode, I talk about how I process the emotions and energetic intensity of this situation, on top of all of the other things going on in 2020. Our willingness to allow ourselves to feel, to process the emotions, and to be honest with ourselves and others is directly related to how deep the healing will be.
