Sinopse
Rev. John Greer explains the doctrine of the Trinity: in the Godhead there be three persons, of one substance, power, and eternity; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. The Father is of none, neither begotten, nor proceeding: the Son is eternally begotten of the Father: the Holy Ghost eternally proceeding from the Father and the Son.The following points are discussed:- The Trinity can be found in certain statements that cannot be understood any other way (Genesis 1.26).- The Bible states that God is one God (Deuteronomy 6.4).- The Bible makes it clear that there are three persons in the Godhead (Isaiah 48).The message concludes by looking at 1 Peter 1.2, 'Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.'
