These weapons are not physical but mighty through God for pulling down strongholds and casting down false arguments against the knowledge of God. Strongholds start as simple thoughts that evolve into exalted ideas, which then become arguments against God's truth and entrenched in our belief systems. Satan builds these strongholds by using philosophies, traditions, and deceits that are contrary to God's word. Strongholds are dismantled when we replace lies with God's truth.
