The Clemson Tigers marched into battle Saturday night under a hail of coke bottles, water bottles and mini-bottles Saturday night in Williams-Brice but that was the biggest threat they faced as the Tigers defeathered the Gamecocks on their way to a 34-10 massacre of their arch rival. A flaccid catchphrase was not enough for the impotent Cocks as they've now lost four in a row in the rivalry and have been especially unable to rise to the occasion the last two years in suffering humiliating defeats by failing to perform (too much?). Clemson now turns their attention to the ACC Championship game and a Miami Hurricanes team that suffered their first loss off the season to Pitt on Friday. The two teams will square off this Saturday night in Charlotte in what will be a de facto play-in game for the College Football Playoffs as the Tigers look to keep on rolling and the Canes look to rebound.
