In Acts 4 Peter and John were jailed and ordered to stop proclaiming the gospel. Instead, they worshiped God, asking for strength to continue following His plan regardless of the outcome. Peter and John prayed a bold prayer that cost them everything, but no doubt made a difference. God responded immediately, filling them with the Holy Spirit so they would have courage.
