The Galapagos Islands are the most famous wildlife-watching destination in the world and were the inspiration for Darwin’s ground-breaking theory of natural selection. It’s almost impossible to exaggerate the sheer spectacle of Nature’s evolutionary kaleidoscope. Just the stunning geology alone makes these islands amazing; the mix of volcanoes, stark lava formations, cactus forests, lush green highlands, turquoise bays and idyllic tropical beaches. But each landing, on each island, also provides a powerful and heartwarming interaction with strange, fearless and wonderful creatures.
