In this episode, Mayra and I had the pleasure to interview Dr. Bianca Villalobos and together dived into the topic of Exploring Cultural Values among Latino mental health staff and Latino clients. This was a qualitative study conducted by Dr. Bianca Villalobos while she was a doctoral fellow at the Hispanic Clinic, where the values to analyze were the following: Familismo Trust Respect Fatalism The study shows congruences and discrepancies regarding these values and the impact of service delivery involving mental health.
