In this episode, Brett, Brian, and Jason begin their discussion of the Second Article of the Apostles’ Creed from Luther’s Small and Large Catechisms. Key to Luther’s understanding of the Second Article was the word “Lord”. We don’t make Jesus our Lord, he already is Lord, and for Luther, Jesus being our Lord mainly meant that Jesus is our Redeemer.
