Shane, Emma & Summer Kennett reside in Lincoln, NE and you might remember Shane's incredible heart from her previous episode (Episode 39). After recording our first episode with Shane, we knew we wanted to hear more about her relationship with a woman she had befriended named Shirley. We were thrilled when she asked if Summer & Emma could join in for this episode, and it is one of our absolute favorites. Shane shares with us how she came to notice Shirley, strike up a conversation, and eventually began visiting her weekly. They share with us how crippling loneliness can be, and how simply smiling at those we encounter has the potential to change lives.
