Dirtbag Cousin (Austen Alexander and Will French) met while studying at the Humber Comedy Writing and Performance program. Austen Alexander is a working actor and filmmaker. He has starred in feature films (The Customer) and national television commercials (CIBC, Hershey’s, Under Armour, Starbucks). His film and broadcast television background gives his concept of comedy a unique approach. Will French is a stand up comedian who has performed at venues such as the Rivoli, the Stirling Festival Theatre, Factory Theatre, Comedy Bar, and various strip-mall sports bars across southern Ontario. His comedy has been featured on Sirius XM’s Canada Laughs and he was the 2016 Recipient of the Mark Breslin Award for Stand Up Comedy through Humber College. After the Humber College Industry Show the two recognized a mutual sense of humour between them despite their very different areas of expertise.
