There's little the guys love more than talking about beer. Ok, probably drinking beer... but that doesn't exactly make a great podcast episode. In this episode, Jody and David talk to British 1500m athlete Dale Clutterbuck who is looking to improve on his European Beer Mile record for the Beer Mile... but taking on the very best again in the Beer Mile World Champs shortly. Dale reveals all about correct beer chugging technique and the pitfalls of training for such an auspicious event. He also reveals what life was like at St Mary's, tells tales of a bust-up on the track and gives his uncensored opinion on the state of athletics. Also in this episode, Jody and David carry on the drinking theme by getting all nostalgic about the awful stuff they drank as teenagers... It's a pretty alcoholic and often nonsensical episode.
