Yasmine Mustafa is the co-founder and CEO of ROAR for Good, an awareness and wearable-tech company that is working to reduce violence against women with their amazing, Athena product. She has one of the most incredible stories we've heard thus far. Yasmine is Palestinean, and spent her childhood in Kuwait, her birthplace. Yasmine visited America for the first time as a young girl. While here, her younger brother was born. A few weeks later, after Yasmine had returned to Kuwait, Saddam Hussein invaded the country and a group of armed men from the US Embassy came to retrieve her family. (Because her brother was born on American soil, he is a citizen) She was undocumented and spoke no English, but loved learning.
