We then examined our own motives in light of Paul's example. In this sermon, we will study how Paul preached Jesus as the promised Messiah of the Scriptures. Specifically, we'll study the prophecies regarding the sufferings Messiah would endure and how Jesus fulfilled these prophecies. James 1:22 encouragement- At times, we as believers are tempted to let go of the sense of awe and wonder at the sufferings Jesus endured. Our familiarity with Jesus' sufferings can become disconnected from why Jesus endured these things. This study encourages us to study why Jesus suffered for us; and how understanding His sufferings better can translate into the transformation of our lives.
