Recordings made in Gala Bingo, Stratford High Street. The road to nowhere: Once a major thoroughfare, home to dead fridge mountains and car part dealers, Carpenters Road has all but disappeared beneath the Olympic site. Sounds from the local bingo hall, poetry and chat from local residents provide a eulogy for the road and its historic passing from right of way to being wiped from the map.
