Today's Topic – Why planning a story is important before NaNoWriMo So the plan matched the show flow, it was simple. Michael and I had very different ideas of what outlining means.  And Also, He had really spent most of his initial planning focused on world building, not thinking about a story. The trap that does not kill us, makes us stronger. I think it ended up being a great example of a risk world builders fall into.  It is easy to confuse good world building with story planning.  You are thinking out scenarios that could happen in your world.  If you are like me, you are visualizing scenes of it playing out.
