Leggio, MD Target Audience: The intended target audience for Children’s Hospital’s CME programs are pediatricians, pediatric subspecialists, family practice physicians, emergency room physicians, and allied health professionals who see children in their clinical practice. The CME programs will result in improved professionalism and ultimately improved quality in children’s health care. Objectives: After this session, participants should be able to: 1. Describe parental factors that contribute to vaccine hesitancy. 2. Avoid unhelpful communication strategies to address vaccine hesitancy. 3. Implement effective communication strategies to encourage vaccine acceptance.
