If Jesus does not meet your expectations perhaps you have made him into a functional savior that will disappoint you like all idols. Have you made Him a means to an end rather than truly following Him? How do you know you are following Jesus? 1. Are you challenged by Him? 2. Are you surprised by Him? 3. Are you amazed at Him?
