Covenant Grace

In the first part of this sermon series on biblical manhood, Dr. Childs describes how the husband and father is to be the prophet of his home. A prophet is one who proclaims and explains the truth (and consequences) of God's Word to His people. He teaches through instruction, example, discipline, and evangelism. He needs to know biblical truths himself so he can teach, connect, and apply biblical truths to his family. The goal is victory not just survival, to be a loving leader and leading lover.
