Paul Bernardo's history of violence against women began with abusive relationships. Then it escalated to sexual assault. From there, with the assistance of his then-wife, Karla Homolka, he sexually assaulted, tortured and murdered Tammy Homolka, Leslie Mahaffy and Kristen French, all 15-years-old. It is for these crimes that he will forever live in infamy in the hearts and minds of Canadians.
