In this pilot episode, I talk about the importance of perspective in security. A few examples: ppl worrying about the vulnerability in Amazon Key...when you can just as easily (or easier) pick the lock or brick the window concerns around losing visibility from HTTPS (encrypted) sites vs the advantages to end users a 3rd party plugin (Browsealoud) on government sites was compromised and was mining Monero for hackers...but still helps delivering accessible All of these issues are legitimate and need to be addressed but not without looking at the bigger picture. There's always a balance to be had when evaluating security decisions.
