Paternity leave is becoming more widely talked about in the workplace. However, the idea of a working spouse taking off an extended period of time to be at home is not looking upon as a right but a privilege bestowed by the company. Dove Men+Care announced back in February #paternityleavepledge to bring awareness to this struggle in the hopes of helping future fathers and fathers of new children get the opportunity to spend more quality time bonding with their family. David Poser is an applicant for a grant available by Dove Men+Care.
