Demetrius Irick is an author and motivational speaker born and raised in Orangeburg, SC. At age 16, Demetrius became fascinated with street life and, as a result, was in prison by 21 years of age. After serving four years in prison and developing a relationship with God, Demetrius transformed his view of life. Jacqueline Johnson-Irick is an author, personal chef and event planner, born and raised in Queens, New York. She and her family moved to Orangeburg, SC in 1999 where she later met and married Demetrius Irick. The highs and lows of their marriage resulted in them writing and publishing their first book released July 2012 titled, I’m Finally A Man: A Husband’s Journey to Manhood. Jacqueline and Demetrius also own DeeJak’s Publishing Company, their small family-owned business.
