They say "‘Laughter is the best medicine." If that’s true, then it’s so important that we use laughter to lessen the fear and horror of hearing those terrible words, “You have Cancer.” However, Susan was not laughing when her mom and brother died of Cancer. This is the dreaded disease, the death sentence, that brings images of gaunt and yellow faces, baldness and not knowing what to do, where to go or how to support oneself or another after hearing those words. Hopefully one will take some deep breaths and connect with one’s own inner-feelings about what is taking place; allow the mind to open for a full-dialogue with self and begin to question all roads for health.
