Jeff Bezos, accounted to be the world’s richest man, after twenty-five years of marriage, is divorcing his wife Mackenzie.  Jeff Bezos is the founder and current CEO of Amazon and also owns the Washington Post.  His wealth is roughly $137 Billion. Reportedly, the couple married well before achieving this immense fortune.  In fact, it has been said that Mackenzie played an important role in the financial affairs of the company.  She was also one of the very first employees. Together they have published a statement informing the public of the pending divorce.  In the statement they speak of their trial separation and mutually amicable feelings.  They stated, “If we had known we would separate after 25 years, we would do it all over again.”   Based on that statement alone one has to wonder then why are they divorcing?
