The filing of a wrongful death lawsuit can be a valuable tool in getting an alleged perpetrator to answer questions about the death under oath. It worked well in the OJ Simpson case, for example. However, there are drawbacks, as well, such as filing on time, finding a lawyer and the costs involved.
