While in college, Jeff Cox was guided to the teachings of Paul Brunton. In the early 70s, he and many other students studied with Anthony Damiani who was a close student of Paul Brunton’s. Guided by Anthony’s inspiration, Jeff helped to build Wisdom’s Goldenrod, a center for spiritual study, and lived there for five years as a resident “monk.” Jeff was instrumental in establishing Snow Lion Publications as the major publisher of Tibetan Buddhism. After nearly thirty years, he retired as president and co-owner in 2012. Since then Jeff became a board member of the Paul Brunton Philosophic Foundation, which is the principle guardian of Paul Brunton’s literary legacy. Jeff's publishing background has been put to use in the editing and publication of Paul Brunton’s unpublished writing - the latest effort is the recently released Instructions for Spiritual Living.
