  Dr. Morgan Francis, LPC (@drmorganfrancis), owner of Scottsdale Premier Counseling (@scottsdale_premier_counseling_), explains that her passion found her as a result the therapy she received after losing her brother in a tragic accident when she was 16 years old. As she goes on to describe her journey in this week's episode of Feed Me Fuel Me (@feedmefuelme), she experienced the grieving process with a therapist sourced by her parents, and it was a tremendous help. However, at the same time, she also witnessed her parents challenges, exacerbated by not having a therapist to guide them through the trauma of losing a child. Dr. Francis would pursue an education in counseling, and would later specialize in helping those that suffer from issues with body image (dysmorphia, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, etc...). She has watched the propensity for these issues grow over the last twelve years in line with the prevalence of social media's chokehold on our attention spans. Today she goes on the societal fac
