During the past one-hundred years women have made social and financial gains that are unprecedented.  This is even truer of Black Women compared to Black Men.  Black Women have far surpassed Black Men as college graduates.   These days, possessing a bachelor’s degree is deemed to be the first significant step to gaining social and financial gains.  The gains don’t stop there.  Increasingly Black Women are found in prominent positions in business, government, medicine and politics.  But what is the cost?  What are the sacrifices?  Is it all worth it?  Is there a way to have it all?
