Dads Of Great Students

A weekly look at father involvement in education through the Watch D.O.G.S. program of the National Center for Fathering. We are David and Tina Long.  Since Tyler's death in 2009 from Bullycide, we have worked with countless organizations, schools, and individuals to keep another family from having to bury a child.  Tyler was bullied for years; Tyler had Asperger's Syndrome.  Our voices will not fall silent until a difference is made.  Being a part of the film 'Bully' allowed us to tell Tyler's story.  Now, we are focusing on solutions.  The Everything Starts with 1 project is dedicated to bring those solutions to communities around the world.   Dads of Great Students is a national program currently operating in 47 states, D.C., Puerto Rico, Mexico and even China.
