They say you can pick your friends but you CAN'T pick your family. You're born into a group of people all different from each other and you're forced to co-exist with these people no matter what. We have our favorite family members, we have our least favorites, the black sheep, and everything in between. But if we're lucky we're left with some good memories and stories for later on in life. Sometimes things aren't so great and the grown-ups we become due to our 'family matters" are flawed ones with rough edges.
