Playwright, Billie King, who produced and directed the stage play titled, “Billie”, a story that takes place in Compton, California during the late 80s and 90s and how a young girl pursuing her dreams to become a hip-hop artist during the Death Row music era, battled the struggles and demons of the entertainment business.
