Bobby Cox is a proud Greenville native and a graduate of The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. In the aftermath of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Bobby joined the Army as an Infantry Officer. During his service, he deployed four times overseas to combat with units such as the 101st Airborne Division, 82nd Airborne Division, and the 75th Ranger Regiment. Before transitioning to the Army Reserves, Bobby served at the Pentagon in Washington, DC, as an Army Congressional Fellow. Bobby still serves in the U.S. Army Reserve as a Lieutenant Colonel. Bobby currently works for the defense firearms company, SIG SAUER, as their Director of Government Strategy overseeing all federal business development. In addition to a BA from The Citadel, Bobby has a Master of Business Administration from The Kenan-Flagler Business School at The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Bobby is a Republican candidate for South Carolina State House District 21. He currently lives in Greer, SC with his wife and two kids.
