A three part episode! First we look into and counter some of the dangerous bipartisan narratives (eerily similar to those surrounding Iraq in the early 2000's) surrounding the Venezuelan government, humanitarian aid, and its constitution (we still don't like Maduro though, simmer down please). Second we interview Asha Aden about the responses to Ilhan Omar's "antisemitic" tweet, the challenges faced by leftist women of color in the radically inclusive and diverse institution of the United States congress, and the future of interfaith work on at levels of society. Finally, we chill out for some banter with our favorite liberal Geoffrey Dyck to talk 2020 candidates and Forrest calls that by the time this episode airs Sanders will have declared his candidacy.
