In this solo episode, I talk about how “diversity and inclusion” is talked about often and is a buzz word, but companies, brands, event planners and many who say they champion it, don’t walk their talk. ⁣ ⁣ I also share my big takeaways from the Cosmos Summit. I recently lead workshops at their event and it was amazing to see a group that created a conference that was diverse and inclusive. Real issues were discussed and it was safe space to share our stories, learn and connect. ⁣ ⁣ True D&I is creating supportive spaces and leadership opportunities within companies and organizations for women and minority/marginalized groups. It’s hiring and fairly compensating those groups. It’s truly listening to what they are saying and doing something about it.
