What if people are more than the sum of their choices? What if there's something deeper and more true about what it means to be human, made in the Image of God? What if even Jesus had to wrestle with the temptation to be what others wanted him to be and chose, ultimately, to live into who he actually is? Our journey of following Christ means we, too, are to live into who God made us and knows us to be, and not hang our sense of identity and worth on the things we do. As we delve deeper inward, we can discover the immortal diamond within and find the "true self."
