First of Two Arctic Blasts Has Arrived across Central/Eastern United States; Western U.S. Dry and Warm; Mainly dry weather across much of the U.S. Friday into the weekend but temperatures will run 10-20 plus degrees below normal in the East with a similar departure above normal in the West. An even colder air mass will plunge into the Eastern two-thirds of the country, Sunday into next week.
