Board With Life Adventures

In this Halloween Special the staff of Plaid Hat Games. They just published a new board game for the spooky season called Abomination. Abomination is a competitive tabletop game of strategic monster building for 2-4 players designed by Dan Blanchette. It’s inspired by Mary Shelley's classic novel of gothic horror. A game where players are gonna be doing some pretty grizzly stuff like stealing organs and making decisions about the value of human life. This adventure was inspired by the themes and ideas of that game, but it’s not at all the same thing.  Dan wasn’t able to join us, but I did tap him for some mad-libs style proper noun generation. Thanks dan. I decided to run the game using Chris McDowall’s 2015 RPG system Into the Odd. An ultra light system about player agency and getting to the point as quickly as possible. I’m gonna go ahead and spoil that I love this system for adventure games.  If you are new to the show you should be aware that it’s not for kids. It features adult language and situations. I
