Confessions Of A Super Mom Wannabe

I don’t know a single mother who hasn’t been surprised by some aspect of motherhood. We all read that “what to expect” books, and maybe they (sort of) prepare you for the birth-giving part, but then what do you do with the little tiny human laying in front of you (or on you).    We all think - or really, really hope - we know what we’re doing, or that instinct will somehow kick in - and many times it does - but today I’m talking about ten surprises of motherhood I’ve had along the way, and what no one really tells you before you’re just in the trenches.
