Tales from the Cobblestones

Today's guest is J.Karen AKA Granny J.  J.Karen does onsite wetsuit repair down at San Onofre State surfing beach on Friday and Saturday. If the job is bigger, you can drop off your wetsuit at Killer Dana of Terry Senate Surfboards, and she will pick them up and do repairs.  She is a traveler and spends half her time in beautiful British Columbia. She fixed one of my favorite wetsuits and it was cheap and easy. She was a delight to meet and she is a character with a wonderful story. I packed up the VW bus early on Saturday morning and headed to Sano for a surf and an interview. After a fun session in the chilly water, I headed back to the bus to warm up and set up the mics. I had a great parking spot that perched right over the Cobblestones with the perfect view of the surfers at the Point.  Please enjoy my conversation with the wise and talented...   Ms Granny J
