A Powerful Storm in the Four Corners will Move Across the Plains to the Upper Midwest this Weekend - A winter storm will swing from the Four Corners Friday across the Central Plains to the Upper Midwest this weekend. Areas of heavy snow, blowing snow and freezing rain are forecast on the cold side of the storm. On the warm side, isolated severe thunderstorms may occur Saturday across parts of east Texas into the lower Mississippi Valley. Freezing rain is also possible Friday in New England..
