She was the team lead for the 2018-2019 season and her team Make Bank made it to regional finals. Joyce also won first place at the Girls Who Invest Competition Sponsored by Wells Fargo Bank in the Bay Area and she was also co-president of the Financial Literacy Club at Palo Alto High School.
