David Cummings is a lifelong entrepreneur. In 2007, he co-founded Pardot, which was recognized by Inc. magazine as the 172nd fastest growing company in 2012, and shortly thereafter was acquired by ExactTarget and then Salesforce.com. He was subsequently named the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in the deal category. Most recently, he founded Atlanta Tech Village, which at 103,000 square feet, is the largest technology entrepreneur center in the Southeast. The Atlanta Business Chronicle named Cummings one of the 100 most influential Atlantans, and Atlanta Magazine named him one of the 55 Most Powerful Atlantans. He is a member the Atlanta Rotary, and serves on the boards of the Metro Atlanta Chamber and the Buckhead Coalition. A native of Tallahassee, FL, he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Duke University and holds an honorary doctorate from Mercer.
