The old self - enslaved to sin, purposeless, powerless - that old self is dead and buried. Under the water. The new self has been reborn. Free from the power of sin, communing deeply with the Creator, and given a brand new mission in this world. This story is both intensely personal - it's one of a kind, it's unique - but it's also a story shared by millions of others throughout history. Christ followers in every generation who have surrendered their lives to the Messiah, and who have been used by God to transform this world. Baptisms give us hope. But, it's only the beginning.
