Success After Excess

Hey everyone and welcome to episode 71! I hope that you've been having an incredible week so far!  Today I am talking about allowing ourselves to be interjected into situations which do not concern us. This happens at times by choosing to involve ourselves in other peoples business and other times, people can lean on us to mediate and or try to have us handle a situation for them.  As nice as it is to be helpful, the issue that arises in scenarios like these is that one, we step out of our lane so to speak by putting ourselves in a situation that we do not have a place in. By doing so, we typically end up becoming responsible for the outcome of the situation and are now responsible for the ever pending backlash and likely inevitable upset. Also, we now have the unpleasant task of juggling emotions and stress that were not our burden to begin with. It is SO important to make sure that we are holding ourselves accountable and in situations like these, we can ultimately offer support, however it is not
