Success After Excess

Hey everyone and welcome back for episode 34!! Today I wanted to talk about something that hit me like a ton of bricks earlier this week... You see, I have one relationship in particular that I struggle greatly with. This person is one that plays a HUGE role in my life while simultaneously missing the mark in that regard. It has taken me a VERY long time to accept that this person was never going to be who I thought that they should be, nor who I need them to be. Coming to that realization was incredibly painful. Even today there are times where I struggle with the logic, rather lack thereof, and sometimes step back into this persons line of fire and become hurt again and then remind myself that she simply is who she is. There is nothing that I can do to change this person and despite knowing that she loves me and my children, I have to continue to accept that my Mom is who she is and that her actions are a direct result of her upbringing and her skill set.   So the flip side of this relationship is one
